October cruisnight!

Last tuesday we had the last cruisnight from this year :(
Too bad!
But, when the weather is fine in November, we still get together at la Baraque for some dinner and a beer, so if you want you're always welcome to drop by!
Due to bad weather, old camera, and no statue, I have made 5 pictures :S

Total destruction!

I think we were too inspired by the Monsterjam trucks, so we tried to tear a Chrysler voyager apart :)
You take a broke-down Voyager, a big 2,5T chain, and a 6,7L V8 Suburban....... let the games begin!!

Demolition day

Yesterday my neighbour Frank and I where a littlebit bored, so we started to clean out the parkinglot in the back.
A few cars were too bad to repair, so.....do something fun with it!!!
We tried to blow up the engine of a Mazda 121, with a littlebit of help from a can of brakecleaner the engine goes up to 8000 RPM :)

Oldtimer swapmeet Bleiswijk

Together with the newlyweds Erwin & Branda we went to the Oldtimer meeting in Bleiswijk last sunday.
It was nice....but not as crowded as last editions, but still a lot of ealy '20s and '30's rides to see.
Didn't bought any stuff, except for a beer and a burger ofcourse ;)

Monster Jam 2009

Last weekend we went together with Franky and the boys from KC, to the MonsterJam 2009 !!! 
What a wicked show.....................1500hp engines, sick to your ears! 
Cars where jumping, flying, rolling, awesome to see :D

A day at the track...

Das Drag Day #7, the place to be for some serious racing!
We left at seven in the morning to arrive around 10 am in Bitburg Germany.
Great weather as usual, and loads and loads of fast cars were waiting for us, so the day couldn't start any better :)
We went down for just one day, so after a nice BBQ and a couple of beers with friends we drove home late in the evening.....we had a blast!!

Sweet car, but you really need a kidneybelt to drive this car.......so I solved that problem for him :)
In the afternoon I did some work on the  panel, and made  photoshoot of the bus to put in the add that I'm working on at the moment!

My good friend Bjorn  started working on my oval again, after a few weeks of holiday and a bad fever (not mexican ;) afterwards........but he's making progress again!

New top for the vert!

Yesterday we had a new top mounted on the rabbit convertible!
Romy drove it to Amerongen in the morning, and at the end of the day she got a call that the car was ready and done :)
Instead of the white vinyl, we chose for a black Sonneland® top.
It's less "Barbie", but it looks so much better, and easier to keep clean!

In the meanwhile I worked on the panel some more, and mounted a new steeringwheel housing, because the ignitionswitch broke down last week........and I had some serious electrical problems!
But everything is working now, even the tacho and the radio :P

WOW!
What a supershow last night............so many cool rides showed up for the concour D'elegance last night :)
More then 80 cars, and most of them stayed untill 22.30 for the prices!
All the pricewinners, congrats with your trophee!
